The Mechanical Arts were recently added to UNESCO’s List of the Intangible Cultural Heritage of Humanity having shaped the culture and everyday social reality of their regions of origin. MEC–ART's founders are at the genesis of today’s most striking mechanical pieces, from watches and clocks, to automata and music boxes. Their practice has contributed immeasurably to the creation some of the world’s most beautiful objects.
The skills and know–how of the MEC–ART members enables the creation of today’s most significant mechanical works by independent artisans and renowned luxury brands. It is through the MEC–ART Association that this know–how is perpetuated and evolved.
